Ode to CVS

CVS is a software program that keeps track of changes that you have made to other software programs. It’s really important to document changes so that others can look at your work and can understand what you did.

CVS reminds me of the first wedding we attended together. We were seated at the same table as John’s other co-workers. The conversation during the entire reception centered around CVS. At the time John was really advocating in favor of CVS. I was really proud of mostly almost following the conversation that night, and on the way home John was impressed at the CVS-related questions I asked.

Although John tells me that CVS is now sub-standard, I still like it. That evening was a bright shining moment in the life of a future wife of a geek.

That wouldn’t happen to be Michelle’s and my wedding, would it? :)

Wow, Brandon, you’re very perceptive! Yes, this was your wedding. The reception was in such a nice setting and it was great to celebrate with you & to meet all the Progeny folks, but my main memory is of trying to figure out what people were saying. I mean, it seemed like English, but I wasn’t quite sure! :-)
