Terah,
How sad to read this post. My thoughts are with you and John as you work your way through your loss.
Dear Terah and John, I just got home a few hours ago and have been catching up on my favorite blogs. I've read and reread your's and Johns and feel like I knew his Grandpa. I feel both very sad for your loss and Joy for the life that was shared with you folks, for a time. I know there is some comfort when a long struggle like this is over but it is still a deep loss. I'm sure your greiving started some time ago as the realization of what was to come became apparent. Marilyn and I send our deepest sympathies and prayers.
Terah and John, we got home last nite and I have been catching up on my favorite blogs and am really saddened to hear of your loss. I must say that I feel like I knew 'Grandpa', by reading your accounts. May God's peace attend you and yours as you celebrate this life God shared with you for a time.
Thank you for the kind comments.
We feel blessed to have so many caring friends.
