serves you right

A local Mexican restaurant, Acapulco, has been linked to 25 cases of salmonella poisoning. I want to know why 25 people were willing to eat at that nasty place. Calling their food Mexican is like calling McDonald’s American. Yes, it is owned and operated by a local family. That doesn’t mean it’s a good place to eat. Their food is virtually taste-free and every dish tastes the same. (McDonald’s food has much more flavor!)

I ate there three times. The second time I went was just in case my first experience was an anomaly. It wasn’t. The third time was only because that’s where the boss scheduled the meeting to be. That third time, I saw the restaurant’s owner be very rude and condescending to a patron in addition to having bad food. The next time I was invited to a meeting there, I refused.

Acapulco in Newton. Do yourself a favor and just stay away.

So, it took you THREE times to figure out that this place was dangerous to your health? I can tell you that it wouldn’t take me twice. ‘Once, shame on you. Twice, shame on me. Darwin did have a point. Species did not survive by repeating mistakes. Think of the effect on your son and husband if you were damaged by this kind of behavior. It’s not just about you.
