I do hope you appreciate the significance of taking Jacob to car shows, not to speak of county fairs, rodeo's, and farmers markets. I always took my kids to these things, as it was a way to broaden their horizons, and realize their place in the world. Plus, you might just strike a chord of interest that could change the direction of their lives. In most cases, this is a positive thing. My wife might differ with me about the interest my sons, and one daughter, developed in old cars, and all the things that can evolve from that. My eldest son and I are restoring a vintage Firebird that belonged to my youngest daughter for her son, which she may let him drive some day. The memories are priceless.
I still think Jacob is smarter than you guys. He knows a car when he sees one, and he seems to know what he likes. Would he be interested in a 1953 Cadillac I am working on? Fans are hard to find.
