conspiracy

I have never really liked to drink anything. If all I had in a day was a tiny sip of water to swallow some meds, I’d be fine. I hardly ever feel thirsty, though that’s probably a result of years of ignoring thirst… That’s why a lot of people in my life like to nag me about my liquid consumption and roll their eyes when I mention hyponatremia.

This past week Jacob noticed a water bottle sitting on the table. He pointed to the bottle and then to me. “You want me to drink the water?” Jacob nodded yes. So I drank the little bit left and showed him that the bottle was empty. He took my hand and led me to the water dispenser on the fridge.

I would like to know who has indoctrinated Jacob into the “Let’s Make Terah Drink More Water Club”. What a conspiracy!

Jacob knows that without the proper amount of liquid intake…there would be nothing much for Mothers to do. It’s instictive.

Jacob is smarter than all of you in that regard. Just don’t drink bottled water, as there is much in there that is worse than can come from your well. I have a sand filter on my house, and people in my area have consumed well water without notable effect. We all need to simplify our lives, and go back to the way our ancestors lived.

Just because there is water in a bottle doesn’t mean it’s “bottled water”.

The problem with the way our ancestors lived is that only 30% of all people survived to adulthood, and the average life expectancy wasn’t even 40 years. No thanks. Now, they did the best they could of course, but we can do better now.

Sensible living means living with the earth, taking the good advances, and leaving behind the bad ones.
