I know the package of which you speak. VERy irritating indeed.
I bought a box cutter knife once that required a box cutter to open it. I ended up slicing my hand with the plastic package worse than the knife would have. That is if I could have somehow gotten it out.

I'm with you on this...
I take Zyrec-D everyday. With arthritis in my hands, taking a daily dose has become dangerous.
The packet doesn't open as ddesigned and I've had to use a knife just to get to the single pill.
