Party City

Posted on Monday, December 10th, 2007 at 4:31 pm

We don’t have a lot of time or energy for elaborate parties around here. Yesterday Jacob got very excited about a cat and John placed a bid on ebay. That’s about as exciting as we get!

This month I’ll be attending one company Christmas party and, um, hosting a family brunch. Does a family brunch count as a party? I’m not so sure…

Thankfully this holiday season, I can party til the cows come home via Nora. She gets to attend all kinds of cool celebrations. How does she have time to party so much? She’s up to Holiday Party #9 and it’s only December 10!

Hey, you’ve got the far busier life - mom, wife, nonprofit employee and all that goes along with that. And you’ll notice that I’m not posting any photographs of my house. It’s a little messy right now.
Did you bid on a cat on eBay?

I know that you can have live baby chicks mailed to your house. Would the postal service do that with a cat, too?

No, we didn’t bid on a cat on eBay. We do need a cat, however we can just go pick several up from any of our farming neighbors. They’re always glad to get rid of cats!

John did bid on some old postcards. He asked for a check yesterday, so he must be getting them!

I’m willing to deliver a cat also!
Old postcards, how fun. I have a few that were mailed to my Grandma Nora from a suitor. They are 100 years old. I just love that stuff.
I hope you’re not getting bad weather.
