A Toddler?

Jacob's daycare serves children from six weeks to 12 years, so they follow the local public school calendar. Monday starts the next school year. That means they move a lot of kids up to the next classroom. Jacob will be moving to the Toddler 1 room. It's really hard to think of my baby being a toddler! (Toddler 1 has kids from 10 to 18 months, so it seems that "toddler" is a rather flexible term.)

Jacob is really strong and does move around, but isn't crawling yet. Apparently he and another baby have struck up a deal. If she's crawling somewhere and he's in her way, she just crawls over him. If she's playing with a toy that he wants, he just takes it. Neither one complains and the teachers just shake their heads.
