Threshing Days

It’s that time of year again! Do you enjoy being hot and dusty? Hearing the loud roar of old engines? Eating until your stomach hurts? Meeting people who are related to your mother’s second cousin’s former neighbor? Then this weekend is for you!

There is something for everyone at Threshing Days. John has written a lot about this local festival, so I won’t repeat it. You can read (or re-read) his stories here.

Last year I was very pregnant and didn’t enjoy very much. This year we’ll take Jacob along. It’s possible that he’ll get his first taste of ice cream (homemade and cranked by an engine, of course).

See you there!
