You should know better than to say that in front of an impressionable young lad...sterotyping is so unfair...and besides, everyone knows it's not funny unless there's another boy to impress.
Those TV sitcoms are the worst. I don't watch them.

It isn't just TV sitcoms (though, those are bad enough). The Berenstain Bears series has a prejudiced idiot for a father. The only time the mother is portrayed as having any failing is when she had a breakdown ("Too Much Pressure").
