Hi Terah -- Yes, that would be scary. I think I would always remember if my mom had read that to me (bad). I'd not heard of the book.
I hope it o.k. for me to add your link to my link list. I read Cliff a lot, got acquainted with you on the underwear rotation blog, and have lurked a little bit here since. The main reason I'm linking now, to you and John, is to make it easy to read about your adventure with the farm. My dad, now 96, has a farm that neither me nor my sister will ever live on now. ..
Thanks for stopping in! I still can't quite believe how popular the underware roatation was... Feel free to link away!
Hi Terah, Hope you are feeling well! I totally agree with you on that book. Someone gave it to our grandchild and I had a hard time reading it. The scene you referred to made me think this lady is some kind of physco. If my mother did that I'd put her away for a long long time. Say hi to John. Oh I heard about the recall of Cadberry Eggs and I thought of you. Too bad. That spelling doesn't look right. Bye for now..take care.
I remember reading that book to our boys! The picture of an old lady rocking a grown man is a bit odd. Hope you are feeling well Terah!
Marilyn - Maybe I wouldn't lock my mother away, but I would invest in some locks for the windows!
Marty - I'm doing okay, though not enjoying wearing support hose on 100 degree days. John seems to be holding up also. Mom - Would your knees allow it?
hmm makes you wonder when your moms dead and you say it would have been creepy for her to rock you when your 30 when shes dead i bet you would regret the idea of her rocking you know matter what age...
