Just needed to remind myself of that. Today is Jacob's first day at day care. He'll be at daycare two days a week (and still be with Grandma & Grandpa for one other day each week). He's at a facility that will ensure his basic needs are met and he will be totally safe. It's just not the NAEYC-approved facility that I wanted - so I feel a little like I let him down.
For his first day Jacob is sporting a cute onesie that says “I'm new here” and has Earth on it. I meant to take a picture, but I forgot. Maybe I'll remember to take one this evening...
