The baby is due in seven weeks. The pregnancy has been pretty normal, aside from the blood clot scare and last week when the sonogram lady bruised my bladder. Nevertheless, I'll be just fine if the baby decided to come a little early!

To set the record straight: No, it's not twins. No, we don't know the gender. No, we don't have names picked out. Yes, we realize that we'll need names soon. Yes, all 6 of the first-time grandparents are excited. We're registered here and here.

I recently had to create a list of people that I wanted to invite to a baby shower. While writing the list, I realized that there are a lot of bloggers that I would love to invite, if only they lived close enough! To that end, I'm hosting my own virtual shower.
