Soon after moving to the country I learned that cats are very good to have around. I had never been owned by a cat before, so I learned a whole lot about them. It's really amazing to me how each cat has such a unique personality. Recently I've been enjoying
catster.com. Cats can be really funny!
More things that I've learned while living in the country:
1. Get at least one cat. It doesn’t matter how immaculate your house is, a country mouse can always find their way into a house. Mice are especially looking for a home in the fall, when the weather is getting cooler.
2. Cats look dead in 100-degree heat.
3. Be prepared for many stray cats to stop at your door. People view the country as a giant dumping ground for unwanted pets.
4. Raccoons like cat food a lot, and are very creative about getting it.
