Soon after moving to the country I read
The Birdbouse Chronicles: Surviving the Joys of Country Life by Cathleen Miller. In the forward Miller writes, "In search of roots, in search of meaning, we've come back to the country again, and this is the book about what we found." Normally I don't enjoy reading biographies or memoirs, but I really enjoyed this memoir. I really was able to identify with the author as she tried to figure out how to navigate through country life.
